![]() ![]() The only standalone drivers I can find for Macs and Windows are for outdated operating systems. I'm advertising that potential owners must have their own recording program to use with it, but I'm finding that they might need that LE authorization code to get the latest drivers for it if they're running Snow Leopard or whatever the latest Windows operating system is. Now I want to sell the MBox, but I literally only have the unit itself, no discs for it and no authorization codes. I somewhat recently stopped using the MBox, and in an attempt to make more room on my computer, I deleted Pro Tools LE. The CoreAudio driver always worked just fine on my Mac. ![]() I installed Pro Tools LE (I don't even know what version it was at this point, the discs are long gone) but right away started using Ableton Live. I bought an MBox 2 Mini sometime in I think 2007, which I believe is around the time they were introduced. Hey so I've found myself in quite the predicament. ![]()

![]() It is compatible with macOS Big Sur 11.4 and later. Naturally, an Amazon Prime subscription is needed to view the streaming content. Amazon, with its various lines of Echo Show smart displays, has ensured that its own streaming service is more widespread there.Īmazon Prime Video for macOS is available on the Mac App Store as a free download. Netflix is quite rare in that area, with its arrival on Google Nest Hub Max last year making headlines. ![]() ![]() M2 MacBook Air discounts Save up to 200, plus 40. With your membership, you can watch hundreds of TV shows and movies on your favorite devices. The new Amazon Prime Video app is a native Mac one, available through the Mac App Store, and which allows users to buy films and TV directly. It's the same thing in the world of smart displays. Prime Video is a streaming video service by Amazon. So it is a shame not to see Netflix (or Disney Plus, for that matter) offer the same on Macbooks just yet. ![]() Desktop apps tend to offer higher resolution streaming, too, than is offered in streaming service browsers Netflix's Windows 10 app can stream in 4K resolution, if your PC monitor supports it. Watching in-app is a great option for those wanting a standalone application for their streaming needs – meaning you won't get lost amid tabs or distracted by a browser notification. ![]() ![]() So, it makes sense that the price for protecting this data is about the same. There's no reason to believe that production data on NAS is somehow less important than production data in VMs, especially considering that the customer needs to protect both. In other words, 1 VUL protects 125GB of actual useful production data (when data resides in a VM).ģ. ![]() Industry-average VM size is 150GB, among which 25GB is redundant/useless data (OS files). ![]() Someone who's selling pretty much every enterprise backup solution out there has shared with me the following pricing data (I'm removing competitors names to be nice, but all these are well known industry leaders):Ģ. And I also saw workloads which were cheaper to lose than to backup.Īlso, I think it's important to put this NAS backup pricing discussion in the context, because Veeam is not alone in the market. I've seen workloads where unstructured data was worth more than your entire NAS farm, while being less than 10TB in total size. The correct question to ask here is how much that data is worth, if it is lost. Regarding how much "backup" should or should not cost: it's actually a wrong question to ask. so yeah, that's definitely in a whole different league for a more typical Synology/QNAP box most small businesses have, so there's no surprise most people here will see your deployment as an "incredibly large NAS" ![]() I looked up the list price for those 8 Isilons units, and across storage and connectivity that rack looks to be close to USD 1M. ![]() ![]() ![]() I suggest using cheddar as the base, then using a mild cheese and a pungent cheese. Some cooked crumbled sausage would also taste delicious! My preference is 1 cup diced ham or pancetta. Chopped spinach works too! Another option is adding meat. I usually stir in 1 cup peas or small broccoli florets. I love sneaking in some vegetables to macaroni and cheese. Milk and cream: This is what makes this dish extra creamy.I like a pinch of ground nutmeg (a trick I picked up from my mom), but if you prefer a little more kick, I would substitute the nutmeg with ground cayenne pepper. Seasonings: Dry mustard adds a “can’t put my finger on it” flavor that keeps you coming back for more.It has an anti-caking agent that causes the cheese to not melt smoothly. Cheese: Shred the cheese yourself! Do not use pre-shredded cheese.Pasta: Elbow macaroni is the classic option, but you can also try cavatappi (corkscrew pasta), mini shells or penne!.It only takes 10 minutes to prepare and you can leave it on warm until ready to serve. ![]() Other perks to this recipe: You can double it if you’re serving a crowd (make sure your crockpot is big enough!) There are make ahead options if you are prepping for a big event. However, if you have extra time, you can use uncooked pasta and have it ready in 4 to 5 hours. If you want to enjoy this dish in 3 hours, you can precook the pasta. This mac and cheese is made without evaporated milk and it still turns out nice and creamy every time. ![]() |
